We teach our students how to safely and professionally carry out treatments as well as how to deal with important aspects of running a business. Absolutely. Our Lash Courses are internationally accredited to the Lash Inc. standards and other courses are locally accredited by reputable industry standards as well as endorsed by many professionals who have walked through our doors.
This innovative technique takes your unruly, thinning brow hair and smoothes it out and lifts it in a more vertical direction. The end result is an illusion of thicker, fluffier brows. This course will teach you everything you need to know to achieve this effect.

Created and managed by Melissa Mcc Araujo, Flutter was born over 16 years ago, modestly starting with the application of individual eyelash extensions. Flutter was the first specialized Eyelash Extension Studio specialising in eyelash extensions in Johannesburg. As the industry has evolved so has Flutter, introducing and mastering new techniques and treatments.
Melissa was trained in Permanent makeup with Premier Pigments in 2010. In 2015 Melissa trained in Microblading by Erika Davis South African educator as well as international Master Florence Wong of Malaysia abroad. Melissa brought this knowledge home to become one of the first to offer the Microblading treatment in South Africa in 2015. 2019 Melissa trained with renowned master trainer Paulina Osinkowska in London for an advanced class of Ombré Shadow Brows and Smudge Proof Lips. More recent international master online courses include:

- Veronica Rozental – Victory Lips 2021.
- Anna Vasileva – Gold eyeshadow Liner 2022.
Flutter has the experience and expertise to offer comprehensive training with back up, post training support to give you the best start in the industry.
Lash Models for practice in class/ case studies: 1 model required on day 1 and 2 models required on day 2.
Flutter has a successfully trained team of certified Lash Therapists who perform this treatment full time, for many hours a week. Flutter Institute offers our students a wonderful opportunity to work-shadow and observe our qualified therapists in action. This option is a great way to observe and experience the treatment in real time. Always select a training institution in your own city as after sales support is vital!

Shanice Ndlovu
Shanice has been working at Flutter for over 8 years. She is calm, patient and knows all the tricks of the trade. She has also worked on every eye and brow-type imaginable. Trained by Melissa, Shanice is confident and excelled in Lash Lifting and Brow Lamination. She has great knowledge of the products and will offer support not only during but after your training is complete.
CHIDO STACY CHIGARIRA
Has been working and thriving at flutter for over 9 years. Trained by Melissa herself, she is a master in Classic and Volume Eyelash Extension which has been her main focus and passion before qualifying in Microblading and Lash Lifting, Ombré Brows, Lip Blush and Make-up Artistry. Stacy is an incredible multi tasking artist and has been a trainer at Flutter since 2017. She is a confident yet kind, knowledgeable and incredibly skilled trainer whom we are lucky to learn from.
Melissa de Araujo
With over 15 years of experience in Eyelash Artistry, including Lifting, Classic, Mega Volume lashes. 13 years in Permanent Makeup with a focus on Brows and Lips Melissa has an eye for perfection and is extremely passionate about what she does always learning. This is reflected in her work, successful training of all her dedicated staff. Growing the brand Flutter and Flutter Institute has also given Melissa special insight, into how to take your brand and training further.
